The Telecel Ghana Ethical Leadership Essay Competition, organized by the Palm Center for Ethical Leadership (CEL) in collaboration with Palm University College and the David Okai Okantey Foundation, is a national platform designed to inspire Senior High School students to think critically, express their ideas, and explore the values that define ethical leadership. With Telecel Ghana as the Headline Sponsor this year, the competition seeks to encourage senior high school students across Ghana to use their voices and ideas to engage with issues that matter to their communities, their country, and the future of leadership.
About the Competition
The competition provides participants with an opportunity to develop and demonstrate their writing, critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills while engaging with important questions around ethical leadership and national development.
More than an essay-writing exercise, the competition is designed to identify and nurture young people who have the ideas, values, and leadership potential to make a positive difference.
Students from senior high schools across Ghana will participate through regional competitions, with outstanding participants advancing to the national Grand Finale at Palm University College in 2027.
Who Can Participate?
The competition is open to students from public and private Senior High Schools across Ghana. Schools can participate by registering their students and nominating a teacher/coordinator to facilitate communication with the organizers.
